The Artist
Having once aspired to greatness with a hand bound into a rawhide handle, Clint Clymer started this adventure on the backs of feather-footed equines whose leaps and high kicks made his heart sing. Unfortunately, being a big bad buckin' horse rider was not in his cards, and he began to focus more on his music. Strangely enough, the rush of adrenaline he got from being on stage was equally as powerful as it was aboard the broncs. Clint began to hone his skills as a singer/songwriter as the front man for the locally infamous "Rogues". But playing almost nightly, four and five hours a night takes its toll on a guy. Pretty soon the rose-colored glasses clear up and the next thing you know, years have past and you realize you've hit the wall. After several years of extreme highs and lower lows, Clint quit music altogether.
A friend is credited with encouraging him to pursue his music again. Like the saying goes,"the winner is the guy that gets up one more time than he's knocked down".
The result of that conversation is the CD you see before you now.
"the winner is the guy that gets up one more time than he's knocked down."
